RIPPLE Water Festival

The Georgia Southern University Coastal Rivers Water Planning and Policy Center (www.coastalrivers.org) will be putting on the 2nd annual Screven County "RIPPLE Water Festival" on September 9, 2008.

This will be presented for all of the 4th graders in Screven County. The event will take place from 9am-1:30pm (at the Screven County Recreation Center). Please note - enrollement for the event is now closed.

Hooks-Hanner Environmental Resource Center Water Festival

The second annual WATER FESTIVAL...where students interact with water education activities....will take place on April 20-21-22,2004 at the Hooks-Hanner Environmental Resource Center near Dawson GA.

The festival is developed and implemented by The Flint River Water Council, The Georgia Rural Water Association, The Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful.

The festival will provide over 750 fifth grade students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about the importance and many uses of water. For additional information email Dave Eigenberg or call (229) 995-6001

Children’s Water Festival (festival travels around the metro-Atlanta area each year)

The Georgia Drinking Water Week Committee is sponsoring the 7th Annual Children’s Water Festival April 29, 2004 at Tribble Mill Park, 2125 Tribble Mill Parkway, Grayson, GA 30017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
