Winning Water:

The 2009 Children's Water Festival!

Winning Water will be an interactive day of learning for selected 4th grade classes in the Altamaha, Satilla and St. Mary's River Basins. It will be held March 11, 2009 on the campus of the College of Coastal Georgia.

The purpose of the festival is to educate students about ground, drinking, and surface water (watersheds) and water quality in a fun hands-on atmosphere. It will serve as a model for future water festivals in Georgia’s other river basins.
